Active system adapters maintain the function of an OEM amplified system.
This allows the connection of an aftermarket HU to an OEM amplified system while retaining the OEM amplifier and connected speakers by adapting, matching or converting the output signals of the signal source to the signal input of the OEM amplifier.
Depending on the vehicle and the installed OEM amplified system, various functions such as fader, sound or subwoofer settings might be lost.
In individual cases, depending on the OEM system and the retrofit radio, increased noise or a switch-on or switch-off noise may occur.
